Day Camps
Get ready for an unforgettable summer at Day Adventures at Camp Albemarle in the Pines, located at 145 Eckerd Road (formerly Camp Sam Hatcher).
This action-packed day camp at Camp Albemarle’s Pines property is bursting with excitement. Campers will take on the low ropes challenge course, aim for the bullseye in archery, create masterpieces in arts and crafts, climb trees, master survival skills, and cool off in the pool. Every day brings new adventures and opportunities for growth, all while building lasting friendships in tight-knit family groups.
Each day is also filled with moments of spiritual growth, with Morning Watch and Bible Study helping campers connect with God and the beauty of His creation.
And new this summer, Fridays will bring a special adventure—A Day at the Sound. Campers will travel to Camp Albemarle’s waterfront campus to experience sailing, the alpine tower, and additional waterfront activities that make the Sound such a special place. Camp Albemarle will provide transportation to and from the Sound for this full day experience.
Plus, no need to pack a lunch—lunch and snacks are provided!

Get ready for an action-packed summer at Middler Day Adventures at Camp Albemarle in the Pines, located at 145 Eckerd Road (formerly Camp Sam Hatcher).
Campers will take on bigger challenges and bolder adventures as they conquer the low ropes challenge course, aim for bullseyes in archery, climb trees, explore arts and crafts, and hit the trails with mountain biking. They’ll sharpen their survival skills and cool off with a refreshing swim in the pool. Throughout the week, campers build strong bonds within their family groups, encouraging one another and growing together through every experience.
Each day also includes intentional time for spiritual growth through Morning Watch and Bible Study, helping campers deepen their relationship with Christ while exploring the beauty of God’s creation.
And new this summer, Fridays will feature a special highlight—A Day at the Sound. Campers will travel to Camp Albemarle’s waterfront campus to experience sailing, the alpine tower, and additional waterfront activities that expand their adventure beyond the Pines. Overnight Camps
Get ready for an exciting week at Junior Camp on Bogue Sound, where spiritual growth and adventure come together! Campers will connect with God through purposeful daily activities like Morning Watch, Bible Study, Vespers, and Devotions, planting seeds of faith and nurturing their relationship with Christ. Alongside these faith-building experiences, campers will enjoy thrilling activities such as sailing, tree climbing, archery, swimming, and skit night. Campers are organized into family groups based on age and cabinmate requests, creating a close-knit, fun environment for all. This week promises lasting memories, deepened faith, and plenty of fun!

Organized into family groups by age and cabin-mate requests, campers will bond through shared experiences while growing in faith and friendship. This week promises a perfect blend of spiritual development and outdoor fun! Please note that for our Session 2 week, campers will be staying in our screen cabins under the live oak trees near our Vespers area.

Sailing Cadets is an action-packed week perfect for campers who crave adventure on the water! Throughout the week, they’ll learn the ins and outs of sailing on Topaz Uno Plus sailboats, guided by expert instructors. But the excitement doesn’t stop there—campers will also dive into meaningful spiritual experiences with Morning Watch, Bible Study, Vespers, and Devotions, helping them grow closer to Christ in a stunning outdoor setting. When they’re not sailing, campers will conquer the giant swing, tackle the low ropes course, swim, get creative with arts and crafts, and showcase their talent during skit night! Grouped into family units, campers will build lasting friendships while taking on every adventure together. This week promises unforgettable thrills, lasting friendships, and spiritual growth on and off the water!

Mariner Camp is the ultimate adventure for campers who live for the thrill of being on the water! Throughout the week, they’ll learn to sail Topaz Uno Plus sailboats under the guidance of top-notch instructors, mastering the wind and waves as they grow in confidence. But the excitement doesn’t stop there—campers will dive deep into their faith with inspiring Morning Watch, Bible Study, Vespers, and Devotions that nurture spiritual growth. Off the water, they’ll take on the giant swing, conquer the low ropes challenge course, aim for the bullseye in archery, and get creative with arts and crafts. With swimming, tree climbing, and the ever-popular skit night, every day is packed with fun! In family groups, campers will form lifelong friendships while making unforgettable memories. Pathfinder Camp is an action-packed week of adventure and faith at Camp Albemarle! Campers will explore the stunning marshes and beaches around Fort Macon, trek along Bogue Shores, and master essential outdoor skills while camping at a local campground. They’ll set up tents, cook over a campfire, and of course, enjoy s’mores under the stars! Along with these thrilling outdoor activities, campers will dive into their faith journey through Morning Watch, Bible Study, Vespers, and Devotions, strengthening their connection with Christ. From sailing and archery to the giant swing and skit night, every day is filled with excitement. Campers will bond with their family groups, creating lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.

Each day focuses on spiritual development through Morning Watch, Bible Study, Vespers, and Devotions, helping campers deepen their relationship with Christ. Join our thrilling Leaders in Training (LIT) program at Camp Albemarle, where you’llembark on a three-week adventure designed to build Christ-centered leadership skills. From engaging leadership sessions and exciting camp activities to unforgettable campouts and impactful community service projects, LITs will experience it all! You’llwork with local organizations like Habitat for Humanity and enjoy camping trips to places like Shackleford Banks, all while growing in faith and leadership. By the end, you’ll have the chance to shadow our staff and lead camp activities, putting your new skills into action. Are you ready to step up, lead, and make a lasting impact this summer? Our Counselors in Training (CIT) program is an exciting volunteer opportunity for those who want to dive into the world of summer camp, grow as leaders, and help create life-changing experiences for others.
The CIT program is a three-week commitment that begins with an action-packed week of training. During this time, you’ll learn essential skills for becoming an amazing camp counselor, including how to build a strong community, foster resilience, and encourage independence and enduring faith. You’ll gain hands-on experience in camper care and learn what it takes to lead with confidence.
For the next two weeks, you’ll put your training into action as you team up with our Day Adventure and Overnight Camp Staff. You’ll shadow experienced counselors, assist with family groups and cabins, and jump into a variety of camp activities. Whether you’re serving meals, leading songs at vespers, helping with camp-wide games, or guiding devotions, you’ll be right in the heart of the action—bringing energy and fun to every part of camp!
This program isn’t just about learning—it’s about having an unforgettable summer, growing in your faith, and making friends that will last a lifetime. If you’re up for the challenge, ready to serve, and excited to be part of something bigger, the CIT program is the place to be!
