FOC

Friends of Camp Albemarle encompasses alumni (past campers, students and staff), volunteers, donors, prayer partners, and anyone that loves Camp Albemarle! Together we seek to sustain the vital ministry of Camp Albemarle as it uses God's beautiful creation to share the love of Christ with children in our community.

Ways to be a Friend of Camp Albemarle

GEM (Give Every Month)

Our monthly giving program is an easy and effective way to support Camp Albemarle! By being a GEM, you are providing a consistent source of funding to sustain our ministry.

  • Set-up a recurring monthly gift of at least $25 and receive a limited edition print of the "Big Tree" by local artist Shannon Johnson.
  • Receive monthly updates on how your gift is making an impact at Camp Albemarle.

One-time and Annual Donors

One-time and annual donors help us further our mission and provide opportunities for all children to experience Camp Albemarle.

Alumni

Former campers, students and staff have first hand experience on the impact that Camp Albemarle makes. Alumni help further our mission by:

  • Sharing their story on how Camp Albemarle made a difference in their life, a favorite memory or a funny story.
  • Recruit new families to attend Camp Albemarle.
  • Participate in our NEW alumni club to be ambassadors to Camp Albemarle.
  • Attend alumni events to reconnect with old camp friends.

Volunteer

Volunteers help Camp Albemarle in a variety of ways:

  • Assist with projects such as painting, trail maintenance and grounds clean-up.
  • Lead small construction projects.
  • Help with our various events such as our festivals and Tough Oaks Obstacle Race.
  • We are thankful for partnerships with Keller Williams, Carteret County Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Carteret, National Charity League, Gramercy Beta Club, West Carteret High School ROTC, and all our volunteer groups that help make Camp a special place to be.

Prayer Partner

Prayer is vital to our ministry and is equally important as financial gifts and volunteer time:

  • Receive monthly e-mails with prayer requests for Camp Albemarle.
  • Participate in one to two annual prayer walks at both Camp Albemarle sites.
